Extract Pages and Split PDFs Natively in the Browser
Welcome to the Split PDF Tool on Download In PDF. Often, large PDF files (like eBooks, scans, bank statements, or textbooks) contain only a few pages you actually need to reference. Splitting a PDF makes it easier to share, email, or catalog specific sections.
A Visual Split Tool Without Privacy Concerns
Most visual split editors send your files to their database to render page images. If you are extracting bank details, tax returns, or credentials, this represents a major security leak. With our tool, **everything is rendered on your GPU using WebGL (PDF.js)**. Your files never touch our servers. The splitting, page selection, and rebuilding happen in your local browser sandbox, keeping your documents confidential.
How PDF Page Extraction Works
Once you drop a PDF, our script reads the document catalog and renders page-by-page previews. Simply click on the pages you want to keep. The tool uses `pdf-lib` to copy only those page objects and compiles them into a brand-new PDF. The original PDF file is not modified, and the text layers, tables, and attachments are copied cleanly into the new file.
